Naasirey Academy is all set to kick off today at 16:00 hours in Hanimaadhoo.

Maldives legendary goalkeeper Imran Mohamed(Imma) will be the chief guest in today's event. Former National player Imma, now a C-Licensed coach will be the guest of honor for this evening's event.

Starting with forty boys, Naasirey Academy will start off with two coaches. C-Licensed coach Ahmed Ashraf will work alongside former New Radiant defender and Milandhoo FC's Premier League coach Mohamed Naasir(Naasirey). A monthly fee of MVR 200 will be taken from the players. Hussain Shahudhee is the main man behind the academy according to Naasirey.

Speaking to BoalhaMV Naasirey said that the academy though it starts with under 14 boys, they will introduce other groups in the near future. Naasirey also mentioned that he will invite other guest coaches to come and work with the academy players. Naasirey expects the academy teams to visit nearby islands to play friendly matches and other activities.

"I want to provide Hanimaadhoo player's for the National Team, this is for the development of football in Hanimaadhoo" Naasirey added.
