Victory Sports Club beat United Victory in a friendly match played at the Turf grounds today.

Victory playing without their star playmaker Ismail Easa (Messi) won the game 2-0 against the fellow strugglers United Victory. Victory also without their foreign goalkeeper Mahmoud Yusuf and Mohamed Imran, who are trainning with their respective National Teams, had newcomer Ahmed Mohamed who made brilliant saves to save the game for victory.

Goals by foreign players Andrej Keric, who signed from United Victory and Moustafa Seddik was enough to keep United Victory at bay.

United Victory's coach Athif resigned two days earlier. For Victory it was a good chance to regroup after two opening defeats and a draw. Coach Suzain would no doubt have set his sights on beating high flyers TC in their next league game.
