FAM has started a D-License coaching course in M.Dhiggaru.

The course started this morning with a total of 26 participants.The coaching course will be instructed by Mohamed Nizam (Nizambe) and Mohamed Shahid (Saad) who will be acting as a co-instructor to Nizam.

Nizambe the last two years Maldives best football coach award winner has recently attained his FAM instructor liecene and this will be his first work after it. Nizambe will be leading the program as a lead instructor while his colleague, Saad will be his co. Saad is former under 16 Maldives National team coach and  has previously worked his top clubs like VB Sports Club..

This one of the many coaching courses FAM has held this year with more to follow. Some of the previous coaching courses includes a goalkeeper coaching course and the same D-License course held for Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) which ended last night. The 3-4 day course has 15 licensed instructors and can be requested from FAM by schools, clubs, councils, etc.

This is an active start to the year for FAM and these courses may be the key to bringing back the joy of football in the nation.
