Ahmed Nashid (Naadhu) has been appointed as Da GANG youth team coach ahead of youth championship.

Ahmed Nashid (Naadhu) worked as head coach at Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) in 2017 in 3^rd division in 2017. Also in that same year he guided Zefrol to the second division title. Naadhu also worked with Victory SC and helped them maintain 5^th until that year’s season end. His work was also seen in United Victory and former first division side All Youth Linkage (AYL) with his most recent works being with U.N Friends in 2018.

Youth championship is set to start with 9 teams including the youth team of Da GANG this February 3^rd. The format of the tournament was changed last year with under 19 tournaments being held once in every two years (under 19 tournament was held in 2018, and will next be held in 2020) and under 21 tournaments to be held the following year, meaning this year it will be an under 21 tournament. The format is set to be followed for the upcoming years.

DA GANG will be playing top tier football for the first time this season and the season is set to start in June after a change in the format of the Dhivehi Premier League.
