Team Himmafushi is gearing up for the Minivan Championship with the aim of winning the K. Atoll round of the Championship. Former General Secretary of FAM and A license Coach Mohamed Adam is the Head Coach of the Team.

Hassan Faiz, Team Manager sights lack of time for preparation as the main challenge for the team. The team mainly consisting of players from Himmafushi aims to build a strong squad with the long term plan. Currently no foreign players are scheduled to join the squad for this years Championship.

As preparations for the championship the team Himmafushi played a practice match against a strong PK team who is preparing for the second division recently which ended in a 1-1 draw. Team Himmafushi was the runner-up last year in the K. Atoll around of the 2016 Minivan Championship. This time around they are hoping to go one step better and win the K. Atoll around.
