Foakaidhoo FC under 21 squad has been finalized by coach Ahmed Husham(Chin).

Foakaidhoo FC senior team assistant coach, now in-charge of the FFC under 21 has held a ten day long trial including two friendly matches with Maziya and New Radiant. The 30 man squad includes Maldives most promising player Oggy(Ahmed Jailam) and four other players from the senior team.

This will be Foakaidhoo FC's first appearance in the Youth Championships. According to an official who did not want to be named, Coach Chin expects at least a top four finish. FFC will also use this tournament to promote players for the senior team that will compete in the Premier League this July.

Nine clubs are scheduled to compete in the Youth Championship starting in the first week of February. Besides FFC, Eydhafushi is the only other team from the atolls that will compete in the championships. Defending Champions Green Streets, New Radiant, Victory, Maziya, TC Sports, Da GANG and Maldives most successful youth club, Club Eagles will compete.
