Dhiggaru to host the first ever D-Licence Course. 

Organized by Dee Cee Jay Sports Club, the newly introduced D-Licence program is set to be held in Dhiggaru. The course is scheduled to be held in M. Dhiggaru from the 25th to 27th of January 2019. For more information +960 7593833 is the number given by the club.

FAM D-Licence teaches new coaches the basics of Football. The three day course will consist of both practical and theory classes. Basic football techniques will be taught to the participants. D-Licence is an introduction to football coaching. For those coaches who wish to do the C-Licence course, D-Licence is not a pre-requisite at the moment, but it is recommended. According to FAM official, D-Licence will soon become mandatory in next few years for new coaches before going on to the C-Licence.

FAM recently issued D-Licence Instructor Licences to fifteen Maldivian coaches including veteran coach Heena Ahmed Saleem, Mohamed Nizam the Premier League winner with TC Sports and Ismail Mehfooz of Maziya.
