Former Victory legend Maattey(Mauroof Ahmed), former general secretary Umarbe(Mohamed Hameed) and former Victory general secretary Ibrahim Nashid are back with the club.

Ibrahim Nashid is the new chairman of Victory Sports Club. Nashid the son of former Chairman Kenereege Abdusattar is the new chairman. Nashid said that he would like to bring the changes to make Victory function as a business. With the club almost bankrupt, the new board is expected to field a team to build for the future. The new chairman is also expected to help clear the debts from the disastrous season of 2018.

Along with Nashid, former Victory goalkeeper and coach, Maattey is one of the vice chairman. Maattey is expected to lead the marketing side of the club. Maattey has always advocated to bring the business model to Maldivian football clubs. Former general secretary of Victory Umarbe is the other vice chairman elected.

Victory Sports Club dissolved their board to make way for the new chairman and the new board. After years of struggle this change is expected to bring some good news to Victory Sports Club.
