All together 2 Goal Keepers, 15 Midfielders, 8 Defenders and 2 Forwards.

Two player to be highlighted from the team list. Ibrahim Waheed Hassan (Ibbe) from TC Sports and Riham Abdul Ghanee (Boby) from Club Eagles. Ibrahim Waheed who started his career with Blues and joined TC Sports during 2014. Back then he was not a starter in the club  level but he was a regular substitute player. Unlike previous years, as TC geared up for the new season (2017) Ibbe was a key figure in TC Coach, Mohamed Nizam’s plan. He has proved that he is.

Riham Abdul Ghanee (Boby), another big youth player rising in the Galolhu National Stadium. Boby started his career with his current club , Club Eagles. With Eagles he has won Youth Championship. Then for 2 years he was with Second Division club Da Gang. As the President Cup Champions formed the squad, Boby was among the new signings to Club Eagles. Prior to Eagles vs Maziya match in Male’ League, Club Eagles coach, Ihsan Abdul Ghanee (Saanthi) said on his first press conference of the season that he will introduce a new player to the National Stadium and that player is talented enough that he can play for National Sides. Well, Saanthi was right. Boby made to National Squad with just three first division appearances.

Maldives #1 and New Radiant Sports Club goal keeper Imran Mohamed (Imma) has recently retired from national duties, it seems Mohamed Faisal from Club Valencia will be the one wearing first choice goalkeeper gloves for national team for the upcoming fixture while Mohamed Imran (Kuda Imma) will be as second choice.
