Hampu (Hamza Mohamed) turned out to be the hero in New Radiant's late drama to beat Nilandhoo 5-2 in their Premier League clash yesterday.

Aduku Kweku Lucas shocked New Radiant by giving Nilandhoo the lead in the 17th minute. The Giant's didn't sit back long as they equalized after just three minutes through Ruiz Paz Angel Luiz. Captain Sentey(Ali Fasir) gave the Blues the lead few minutes later. 

Former Eagles star, Fugey (Ibrahim Furugan) equalized for the Minivan Championship semifinalists in ten minutes into the second half. It looked like the game was destined for a draw when Umair scored for New Radiant in the 84th minute. Three minutes later New Radiant was awarded a penalty. Hampu stepped up and blasted the ball into the net. Few minutes later the Maldivian International took the ball from near the halfway beat couple of Nilandhoo players cutting inside to score one of the best goals of the season to end the game 5-2 to New Radiant.
