Maattey Academy announces football festival at Kulhudhuffushi during the school break.

The festival will be held at the famous Hirafus grounds from 24th of November to the 26th of November. The three day event will be held in association with Society for Kulhudhuffushi Youth (SKY) and Hirafus. Children between the age of six and thirteen will be taking part in Maattey Grassroot Football Festival 2018.

Ahmed Mauroof(Maattey) the former Maldives International goalkeeper opened Maattey Academy in April of 2018 in Kulhudhuffushi. The former Victory Sports Club and Club Valencia goalkeeper also worked as the Technical Director for Football Association of Maldives. Arguably one of the best goalkeepers Maldives has ever produced, also holds the record as one of the best Coaches the country has produced in terms of first tier trophies won.
