Eagles sink Green Streets to claim three points

Club Eagles bounce back to winnings ways following a 3-1 win over Club Green Streets. The win takes Eagles up to 46 points from 19 games and remain in second place while Green Streets lost the chance to move in to third place with a win. Green Streets remain fourth in the standings with 26 points but a win for United Victory could seem them drop down to fifth while a win for Club Valencia against TC will see Green Dragons sink to sixth.

Eagles drew first blood early on when Brazilian Bruno Vinicius fired home to give the lead. Followed by an own goal in the 20th minute by Green Streets. Raaif Hassan saw his shot deflect of Green Dragons Ibrahim Haseeb into the back of his own net.

Green Streets narrowed the margined seven minutes later in the 27th minute. Mohamed Jailam converting to give the Green Dragons hope. Jailam finding the back of the net with a spectacular volley.

Despite Green Streets resialiance Eagles once again scored to widen the gap and make it 3-1. Ahmed Numaan beating Green Dragons goalie in the 55th minute. Numaan headed home from a Hussain Sifau (Kuro) free-kick to secure the win for Club Eagles.
