Maziya strike late to secure win against SUS

Maziya Sports & recreation club struck late in the second half to secure maximum points against Super United Sports. Nemanja Kartal's late strike means the Green boys take home a 3-2 win. The Green boys wrapped up the second round of the league with 39 points from 14 games while second place eagles have 31 points to their name. 

Naaiz Hassan fired home a header from a Tana corner to draw first blood in the 16th minute of the game and Tana followed with a sublime free-kick to make it 2-0 for the Green boys. Maziya look to be easy sailing for all three points however, Super United fought back in sensational style late in the first half. 

Super United fullback Hassan Aiham (Aihu) saw his free-kick find the back of the net after deflecting off Maziya defender Samooh to make it 2-1 and give Super United hope. Four minute later Super United's energetic late approach in the second half was rewarded as they drew level. Ahem found striker Ibrahim Nasooh (Pila) with a brilliant pass and Pila made no mistake as he slotted the ball into the back of the net to make it all square.

Maziya started the second half strongly with control of possession however struggled to break down Super United's resilient defence. Super United's backline came crashing down in the 89th minute when Tana's corner found Maziya defender Kartal whose rose above the rest to drill a spectacular corner into the top corner of the net.
