Pakir hopeful Victory will benefit National Teams growth

Victory Sports Club new boss Pakir Ali has said that he is hopeful the club will benefit the growth of Maldives National team. Speaking at a press conference held today at Salt Restaurant the new boss said Victory is one of the biggest clubs in the country and the club will move forward hoping to benefit the National Team.

The Reds went into a suspension in 2019 after failing to play the salaries of players and staff. In late April the club held a election and a new board of directors was appointed and Pakir Ali was named to take charge of the Reds. Pakir's first task will be to lead the Reds to the 2022 Second Division.

Pakir said that his first task is to take lead the Reds back to the top flight and the clubs new chairman has handed Pakir former National Team player Mohamed Imaaz (Aakko) as the first major signing and joined by four three foreign players.
